چکیده
In this review, we aim to introduce the reader technique of electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) with a focus on its biological, biomaterials, and medical applications. We explain theoretical experimental aspects EIS details essential for biological studies, i.e., interaction metal electrodes matter liquids, strategies measurement rate increasing, noise reduction in bio-EIS experiments, etc. also give various examples successful practical implementations science technology, from whole-body health monitoring sensors vision prosthetic care single living cell examination platforms, virus disease research, biomolecules detection, implementation novel biomaterials. The present review can be used as tutorial students well handbook scientists engineers because extensive references covering contemporary research papers field.

Bioimpedance Spectroscopy
In the context of biology, electrical phenomena are usually identified with ionic currents through protein channels, for example as they are postulated during nerve signalling (Andersen et al. Prog Neurobiol 88(2):104–113, 2009; Sakmann and Neher Annu Rev Physiol 46:455–472, 1984). However, there are more electrical phenomena that play a significant role in biological systems, namely those aris...

Bio-electrical impedance analysis (BIA) is an inexpensive, quick and noninvasive technique for measuring body composition. Unlike other various complicated methods, bioimpedance measurement technique is simple and less time consuming for various applications including medicine, biotechnology and security system. BIA is a promising method for predicting changes in body composition and has the po...

Susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) is a high spatial resolution, three-dimensional (3D), gradientecho (GRE) magnetic resonance (MR) technique [1]. It uses both the T2*-weighted magnitude and the phase information to emphasize the magnetic susceptibility differences of various tissues or substances, such as blood products, iron, and calcification, by post-processing the magnitude images with ...
